About Covid-19

Dear Valued FlashForge Customers,

During this challenging time and with the news dominated by COVID-19, we wanted to let you know that we are implementing emergency protocols for ensuring the safety to our employees and to our customers.

We are closely monitoring all guidance by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and developments around our state, country, and the globe. Please protect yourself and others around you by cleaning your hands often and avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. Putting distance between yourself and others if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.

Many of our customers have concerns about their orders during this time. We are doing everything we can to ensure all orders are shipped in a timely manner while promoting a safe environment with our employees.

We understand 3D printing is fun (add addictive) and it maybe something you want to expand or get into while you are social distancing at home. We will be operating and by your side as long as we are all healthy and practicing good personal hygiene. We ask you to do the same while 3D printing at home.

Thank you to all the medical personnel, law enforcement, firefighters, and all makers for fighting and preventing the spread of this virus.

We appreciate your support of FlashForge. Please send us an email for any inquiries at sales@flashforge-usa.com

Best Regards,
All from FlashForge USA

Below are some of the designs of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) you can 3D print and contribute to your local hospitals and communities. We will keep this page updated as we received permission from the creators. Check with appropriate medical personnel if these can be approved for use in hospital environments.

Hands-Free Door Openers

Hands-Free 3D-Printed Door Openers to Help Against the Spread of Coronavirus

Hands-Free Door Openers
Door handles are among the most germ-infested objects in houses, hospitals, factories, and elderly homes. We stand behind our mission to build a better and healthier world, which is why we’re sharing free design files for all worldwide to 3D print hands-free door openers. Careful analyses by our risk prevention advisors on how viruses spread confirm that by using our covered arms instead of our bare hands, we can work together to avoid further passing on COVID-19. Let's work together to stop the spread!

DtM-v3.0 Face Shield PPE, 3D Printable Headband

This design has undergone review in a clinical setting and is recommended when fabricated as instructed.

Product Point-of-view
Healthcare workers responding to COVID-19 who face PPE supply gaps while waiting for domestic face shield production to catch up with demand NEED a transparent face shield that:

• limits aerosol and splatter exposure from in front and above, while providing top ventilation
• reduces aerosol and splatter exposure on N95 and other face masks
• is re-usable for a single user (can survive multiple daily washes; transparent visor can be replaced from readily sourced materials when worn out)
• is easy to fabricate within a few days of design approval (ie no complex supply chains or production bottlenecks)
• is comfortable to wear and easy to don and doff (as it will be taken on and off dozens of times in a twelve-hour shift)
• provides protection to broader area of face compared to standard safety goggles or glasses
